Hello, I'm Paula Vaughan!

So you want to learn more about me huh? Well unfortunately for you, I'm not that interesting, but, here it goes. 

I currently live in the same town where I was born and raised. The only difference now is that instead of living with my family, I live with my husband and our cat, in my brothers basement. We are currently living out the dream, (in the not so scary basement) for the next year while we save up and become full fledged adults once again, and buy that HOME SWEET HOME that we can call ours. Until then I am very grateful to my big brother and his wife for letting us stay with them.

So who is this husband I speak of? Well his name is Richard and we have been together for (as I'm writing this) almost nine years. We are one of those couples that prove opposites attract. Now don't get me wrong we share A LOT of the same interests, but where he is dark, moody, and an introvert, I'm colourful, bubbly, and an extrovert. But despite all that we found each other dug our claws in and never plan on letting go. He's my Lobster. Bonus points if you know what that means.

I have two great passions in my life...Movies and Photography. I grew up in a family with a father that was obsessed with movies and that rubbed off onto his children. I love all genres of movies and I know more useless trivia then any one person should know. I can't do my own taxes but I can tell which actor said "working with her was like being hit over the head with a big Valentine's Day card, every day." It was Christopher Plummer about Julie Andrews on Sound of Music. See told you. 

Photography is a hobby, passion, and dream. I started taking it in high school and fell in love with it. Eight years ago Richard bought me my very first DSLR camera and since then the passion has only grown. My uncle and niece also share this passion and we formed a photography group and go on adventures to take photos. My friend Hillary and I also started a small photography business that I hope to get off the ground in the next year called Little Red Arrow.

Favourite Movies: This is a tough one as there are so many so I will tell you my top two. Sound of Music and Star Wars Episode 4.

Favourite Music: Florence and the Machine, Of Monsters and Men, Adele, Mumford and Sons, Muse, Hozier, Sigur Ros, Marilyn Manson

Favourite Books: Harry Potter (the entire series) These are the books that made me love reading. My favourite author is Colleen Hoover.

Favourite TV Shows: American Horror Story, Game of Thrones, Outlander, Boy Meets World (for nostalgia)
